What we collect
When you register for an event on this site, the form is provided by HubSpot and collects the details you type into it, typically your name, work email address, company and job title. We also receive the technical information HubSpot records with a submission, such as your IP address and the page you submitted from.
If you accept cookies, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, which records anonymised information about how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. Nothing analytics-related is set until you accept.
Why we collect it
We use your details to confirm your place, send you the joining link or venue information, and follow up after the session with materials or a recording. With your consent we also send you news of future Marketing Leadership Series events. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect a booking you have already made.
Our lawful basis is consent for marketing email, and legitimate interests for running an event you asked to attend.
Where it goes
Registrations are stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship management system. Analytics data sits in Google Analytics. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the suppliers needed to run the event.
How long we keep it
We keep event registration records for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Ask us to delete your data and we will.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it for marketing. Email hello@sleepinggiantmedia.co.uk or call 01303 240715. If you are not happy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies until you accept them in the banner. If you change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will reappear.
